Jetset World Travel

JetSet World Travel is a luxury travel agency that specializes in crafting personalized travel experiences for their clients. Their team of experienced advisors work with clients to plan their trip, from flights to accommodations, activities, and more. With a reputation for excellence in the industry, JetSet World Travel was looking to update their online presence to showcase their expertise and develop a brand that matched their refined and sophisticated target audience.

Challenge

JetSet World Travel challenged Oh Hello to design a website that not only conveyed their luxurious brand and concierge services, but also maintained a friendly and approachable tone for their target audience.

It was crucial for the site to speak to their target clients while also attracting potential travel agents with great storytelling about the JetSet culture.

Solution

As part of our solution, we carefully thought through the user journey of each page, with a primary focus on their travelers as the target audience and the potential agents they could recruit as the secondary audience. We worked with the JetSet team to develop messaging and content that would engage both audiences and showcase their brand values. This allowed us to develop a website with a seamless user experience that communicated this is a brand that consumers could trust to deliver the travel experience of their dreams.

Process

We developed three distinct stylescapes, considering their target audience. After careful consideration, we settled on a modern and captivating design that places a strong focus on stunning photography. The color palette features deep blue-green hues with pink and gold accents, creating a luxurious and gender-neutral aesthetic. By combining a clean and modern Avenir typeface with elegant handwriting in Quentin, the resulting design is both striking and unforgettable.

Step 01

Stylescape

We developed three distinct stylescapes, considering their target audience. After careful consideration, we settled on a modern and captivating design that places a strong focus on stunning photography. The color palette features deep blue-green hues with pink and gold accents, creating a luxurious and gender-neutral aesthetic. By combining a clean and modern Avenir typeface with elegant handwriting in Quentin, the resulting design is both striking and unforgettable. 

Step 02

Wireframes

After completing the design strategy, we began creating wireframes to lay the foundation for the website’s future design. By using a monochromatic approach without any distracting imagery or graphical elements, we were able to focus on the page layout and content as a whole. Our team created approximately eight different wireframes that mapped out the content blueprints for each page. Once we received sign-off and client approval on the narrative storytelling from a content perspective, we moved forward with designing high fidelity mocks to bring the wireframes to life.

Step 03

Design

With the approved stylescape and wireframes in hand, we were primed and ready to dive headfirst into the design process.

We used stunning, colorful photographs combined with branded fonts and colors to create a memorable first impression. To make the website feel both clean and visually interesting, we designed a custom grid of photos and graphics that add a pop of excitement and encourage site visitors to keep exploring.

We devoted extra attention to the continent pages, carefully selecting photographs that captured the essence of each location and incorporating a map as a decorative element. To add a personal touch, we emphasized the use of handwritten fonts, creating a unique and memorable browsing experience for Jetset users. 

Result

After our client signed off on the design, we went into a 4-week streamlined development. JetSet World Travel received a stunning, mobile, and tablet-responsive website that perfectly conveys the brand values and speaks to their target audience, from discerning luxury travelers to potential travel agents.

The end result is an engaging online experience that allows customers to explore JetSet’s unique offerings and creates a lasting impression.
